Kumbalgarh Fort, Rajasthan
Kumbalgarh Fort is located at a distance of 64 km from Udaipur. It is the second most important Fort after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. This fort was built in 15th Century by Rana Kumbha and is surrounded and supported by Aravali Ranges. This splendid architectural fort stayed un-conquered as of it's in accessibility and hostile topography. The fort also served as refuge to the baby king Udai of Mewar. It also holds sentimental significance as it is the birthplace of Mewar's legendary King Maharana Partap. The fort offers a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding areas.
