Nepal Ranked of the World's Best Value Destination

Nepal destination topped Lonely Planet's "Best Value Destination" list has ranked 5th on the "Top Ten Destination Guidebook." Nepal only destination in South Asia has been featured on the list of the top 10 countries to visit in 2017. Among the top ten countries, Canada stood first, followed by Colombia, Finland, Dominica, Bermuda, Mongolia Oman, Myanmar and Ethiopia. The largest Travel guide book publisher "Best in Travel" in the world even natural disaster can't keep Nepal down for long. Travellers must visit in the year selection process, Lonely Planet writes, the list is whittled down by our panel of travel expert to just 10 countries, 10 regions and 10 cities.

Over 1000 Mountaineers Granted Permit for Autumn Ascent

More than 1069 aspiring mountaineers have obtained permit to climb various mountains in the country in the autumn and fall. Department of Tourism the weather during mid-September to mid-November is considered for climbing. The permit would be issued by mid-November more mountaineering aspirants would obtain climbing permit as the permit would be issued by mid-November.

Adventure Sport Paragliding Present Near to Kathmandu

A new established Kathmandu nearby Godawari in Nepal is popular adventure sport to internal and international tourists around the globe country for lightweight flying along the thrilling view of the landscape of Country. Godawari municipality contains Chapkharka hill where lies the paragliding sport where tourists enjoy gliding from the hill and fly up to 4.5 km down, to land at Rakshyataar which take about thirty minutes. Tibet Airlines to Begin Nepal Service

Tibet Airlines to operate on specified routes between China and Nepal. Tibet Airlines has been eyeing the Nepal market, and the Lhasa based carrier will be the fifth airline from the northern neighbor to serve Kathmandu. The Chinese government on Tibet's plan to connect Nepal the airline to submit its flight frequency, destination and the commencement date plan. Lhasa is connected with a number of cities in China, Kathmandu is the only international destination linked with the Tibetan capital. Currently four Chinese carrier Air China, China Southern, China Eastern and Sichuan Airlines operate flights to Nepal. Chinese airlines were allowed to operate 14 flights per week.

HRH The Gyaltshab Celebrates November 11 in Mongar

The His Royal Highness Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, accompanied by Ashi Yeatso Lhamo, celebrated the 61st Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo at Kurichu Hydropower plant's archery ground in Gyalpoizhing, Mongar yesterday. Thousands of people had gathered for the celebration, including the newly elected local government leaders of the 17 gewogs. HRH lighted butter lamps before the portraits of His Majesty The King and His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo.

Exhibition on Tashi Gomangs

The venue of the three-month exhibition was at the Royal Textile Academy in Thimphu

An exhibition titled A National Treasure of Bhutan was held at the Royal Textile Academy (RTA) on November 5. Tsugla Lopen Samten Dorji will inaugurate the exhibition.

According to a press release from RTA, the Tashi Gomang project under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Royal Grandmother Kesang Choeden Wangchuck, for the first time, together in collaboration with RTA, the Central Monastic Body and the government, is presenting the culturally and spiritually noteworthy exhibition of the century.

Though the Lam Manips that accompanied these sacred Tashi Gomangs, singing spiritual devotion and realisation to listeners, was initially from the Central Monastic Body, the responsibility was handed over to (lay monks) who were better suited to the tradition as they were more involved with the communities and villages. These custodians have all but dwindled down to only two surviving Lam Manips today: Manip Kunzang Tenzing, 72, and Manip Kinley, 84, states the press release.
