The 31st Surajkund International Crafts Mela

The 31st Surajkund International Crafts Mela, organised by the Surajkund Mela Authority (SKMA) and Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Union Ministries of Tourism, Textiles, Culture and External Affairs, is celebrating Indian folk traditions and cultural heritage from February 1-15. A splash of colours and rhythm of drum beats merge at Surajkund in Faridabad, Haryana during the first fortnight of February every year. More than a million visitors throng the Mela (fair), including thousands of foreign tourists and it has also occupied a place of pride on the international tourist calendar. The Surajkund Mela is unique as it showcases the richness and diversity of the handicrafts, handlooms and cultural fabric of India.

Etihad Airways to launch third daily flight to Bengaluru

Etihad Airways is launching a third daily flight on the Abu Dhabi – Bengaluru route, effective 26 March 2017. The triple daily schedule will provide greater choice to local passengers travelling between the two cities, and improved connectivity to destinations across the GCC, North America and Europe via the airline's Abu Dhabi hub. With a new daily late night departure from Abu Dhabi, and early morning service from Bengaluru operated with a two-class Airbus 321, the schedule provides additional online connectivity to and from a number of destinations, including Doha, Jeddah, London, Dublin, New York and Dallas.

Hyatt announces opening of Andaz Delhi in Aerocity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Andaz Delhi, marking the Andaz brand's first hotel in India and 16th worldwide. This luxury lifestyle brand of Hyatt celebrates local culture and the unique spirit of neighbourhoods and offers inspiring experiences through the neighbourhood's rich history and culture, helping guests get to know their surroundings more intimately and leave feeling like a local. Andaz Delhi opens with a partial inventory of its residential-style 401 guestrooms, including 45 suites. The hotel will also offer 129 serviced apartments, expected to open next year.
