Lying on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra is a small town in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Just a few kilometres from our hotel, Sikandara Fort is an important piece of Mughal architecture and the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Built between 1622 and 1628, the Mughal red sandstone and marble mausoleum Itmad-ud-daulah Tomb (nicknamed "Baby Taj") is also noteworthy.
